For this weeks project I learned how to take the skills I have learned in Illustrator and transferred those skills over to After Effects. I started by going to the drawing board and sketching out different ideas. Some of my favorites were snow falling, something automotive, and a rocket flying in space. Here are some of the sketches.

After deciding to work with the rocket, I went into illustrator and created the design with all of the separate layers I would need to create the movement.

Lastly I used After Effects to have the stars move and flicker at different speeds, made the rocket move from bottom right to top left, and moved the flames around to show combustion. Enjoy!
