"Equal Playing Field: How U.S. education is funded" is an informational motion graphics video meant to draw attention to the inequities in the American school system funding.

After writing and recording the script, the visual assets were created with a scratchy, uneven quality to reflect the subtle inequities of school funding itself.

The artwork from Adobe Illustrator was imported into After Effects for animation. The Turbulent Displace effect was used to replicate the style of a rough, textured brush and the Evolution property was animated to give it a constant motion.
