Faodail Roastery is a small batch, speciality coffee company based in Glasgow. Faodail translates as 'lucky find' in Gaelic, which is perfectly fitting as discovering our wee coffee company amidst the multitude of coffee roasters out there is indeed a lucky find.
With the logo already designed, I followed their rustic, traditional style and designed their business cards. I recommended a 350g Brown Kraft Card for the business card to achieve the raw theme of their company brand. Using brown, recycled paper for their coffee packaging, we wanted to reflect that across all marketing material. With elements from their logo, I used a serif, Baskerville typeface to complete the traditional look.
Along with the cards, I also designed the material they use when they sell a product. The card is used for information about the product, where it's from, how it's made, flavours and strength. I wanted to use the traditional, rustic style the brand had developed however I decided to modernise and have a sans-serif pairing to
complete a clean look.
