Plazma Burst 2 (or also abbreviated as PB2) is an interesting action, side-scroller and third-person game that was created by Eric Gurt
“an indie game developer who is working on sequel to Plazma Burst series which is still in development”.
This game is the second installment of series Plazma Burst game and released on March 10, 2011.
This game continues following the series's main characters named as Marine and Noir Lime. However, in this game, there are lots of new features, new factions, allies, and introduces the third main protagonist named Proxy.

Gameplay
In this game, the story starts after the events of FttP where our main character Marine ejects from his Falkonian ship. It's set in the theme of a post-apocalyptic world where the civil security of humans is fighting against a mysterious alien race. This race is called as Usurpation Forces. And in the role of the protagonist, the main mission of players in this game is to battle against both factions as well as other non-affiliated enemies to rescue the world.
There are two modes in this game including Campaign and Multiplayer modes. The Campaign mode is available to play on this version of Freegames66 while the Multiplayer mode is only available at Plazma Burst 2 official website. However, there are lots of levels in Campaign mode for players to play and enjoy, all of them are so attractive and challenge.
At the start of the game, players can customize their character with lots of selection such as choosing the battle suit, head color, body color, arms color, and legs color, etc. In addition, they are able to carry 3 different weapons to fight in each level.
After completing a level, players will receive reward money. With this earning, they can upgrade their weapons or purchase the new ones that much more powerful. Besides that, during the game, they also can collect weapons from enemies who are killed.
In addition to money, players are also able to receive lots of achievement for the game. In detail, there are 23 achievements in this game. Players will receive these achievements if satisfy its requirement.
Characters
As mentioned above, there are three main characters in this game including Marine, Noir Lime, and Proxy.
Marine
Marine is a soldier and the main protagonist of this series game. He is sent from the future with the main mission is to save the human. In detail, he has to stop humanity from becoming enslaved or extinct because of the Usurpation threat.
He is a playable character and usually uses Correction Nine weaponry. People have known not much about him other than he is a very skillful soldier and he volunteered to travel back in time to save humanity. In addition, his notable weapons are assault rifle, Pistol, and Shotgun.
In this game, he is a friend of Noir Lime and Proxy. And people are rarely able to hear his voice because he is silent most of the time. Just have a few brief conversations between him with his fellow teammates.
Noir Lime
Noir Lime is also the main protagonist in this game and he appears in the later levels of the game. Similar to Marine, Noir Lime is also the warrior that was sent back in time to save the humanity and change the course of history. In this game, his main weapon is a Mini-gun C-02m instead of the SMG like in the previous game.
Proxy
Proxy is the only female protagonist and only appears in this game. She is a survivor and takes the role of an ally with Marine and Noir Lime during the later levels of the Campaign mode. She teams up with two other protagonist characters and offers major assistance in battle. Her notable weapons are a shotgun CS-DAZ and a heavy railgun v04 CS-OneSOneK.
Enemies
Besides the protagonist characters, there are lots of enemies in this game. They belong to the Civil Security, Usurpations, and Androids factions.
Civil Security
This is the main enemy factions in this game. This organization consists of human soldiers and they fight against the Usurpations, Marine, and his allies during the Campaign. In this game, they usually appear in a squad with the main mission is to guard the nearby area. There are 4 ranks in this faction including the Lite, Heavy, Ghost, and Boss classes.
Usurpations
Usurpations is a new alien race that first appears in this game. This faction intent on taking over Earth and they fight against the Civil Security and Marine many times. They were discovered accidentally when humans first invented teleportation through an experiment. Their weapons include Alien Rifle, Alien Pistol, and Alien Shotgun. In addition, they also use other weapons of Civil Security and Correction Nine.
Androids
This is the robotic faction and a semi-sentient race who fight against the Marine. Their weapons are Rocket Launchers, Railguns, and Alien Shotguns.
New Features
In the campaign mode, there are up to 42 levels.
In multiplayer, there are 3 game modes including Deathmatch, Cooperative, and Team Deathmatch.
The Old or Advanced level editor allows you to create your own singleplayer and multiplayer levels.
You are able to customize your campaign characters and change the type of battlesuit mode in the Equipment shop.
There are 23 achievements for you to earn.
There are 25 weapons for you to choose from, each of them has its own strengths and weaknesses.
There are various enemies in this game.
More vehicles than its previous game.
Cutscenes are replaced with in-game texts.
