"Winter Sound."
By
Jaime Rivera Adams
It was winter and it was falling,
Autumn leaves from off the ground,
and I thought that you were calling,
but I could not see you around.
Where are you hiding love?
Cause I can't find you on the ground,
are you living up above,
without making a sound?
As I was walking, it''s when I found,
the stone with a written name,
and I crumble to the ground,
when I realize I was insane.
You were gone one winter night,
out cold, out on your own,
and you froze up to your death,
leaving me here all alone.
