In this small series I call "Holograms", I am using only the foam roller in applying layers of paint, thinking about the idea of energy vibrating out of structure. I like the way these metallic pigments play with one another and how the textures evolved using my printmaking techniques on these surfaces. The addition of gloss medium polymer as well as pulling materials from the surface to make pattern makes for a successful abstract concept, one I hope to take larger still.
