Marine Debris
This collection of marine debris photography is an ongoing personal project of mine. Beach combing is one of my favorite hobbies, and I always try to pick up litter that I see when I am out searching for the usual treasures (seashells, sea glass, rocks, etc.)
I am really driven by the concept of capturing subject matter that isn’t typically perceived as beautiful in a bold and striking way.
I hope that these photos encourage others to pick up the trash that they see, rather than choosing to leave it behind.
I also hope that these photos can be a vehicle for the much larger conversation at stake here: the collective human race's negative impact on the environment and subsequent destruction of our one and only home (planet earth).
