Onam, the harvest festival of kerala, is celebrated in the month of august. Unfortunately, Kerala was hit by a devastating flood shortly before Onam, leaving more than 1 million people displaced, and with more than 400 reported deaths. Admirably ,this did not dampen the spirit of the keralites, the country saw the usual onam games replaced by brave rescue missions by the local fishermen, help aids flowing from different places and malayalees throughout the world uniting for this cause. It was inspiring how people came back much stronger and hopeful after this tragedy.
We had to do a tribute for the heroes and people of Kerala, and made a short paper animation to salute the people of kerala and disaster management, with the help of our guide and college resources.
