Chaska Chayamachi with Chapelle de Ciel
In my opinion Tadao Ando is the best Japanese architect in the world. I love his brilliant works and decided to collect his design since 2017.
In Tadao Ando’s signature architectural works there include three churchs: Chapel on Mount Rokko( 風の教会/六甲の教会 , 1986 ), Church on the Water( 水の教会, 1988 ) and Church of the Light( 光の教会, 1989 ). Beside these he also designed many other fabulous church such as Cappella Di Mare( 海の教会, 1991), part of the Awaji Yumebutai, and Chapelle de Ciel( Church of the Sky, 2010), wedding hall of of the Harmonie Embrassee Osaka.
Harmonie Embrassee Osaka is a hotel of Chaska Chayamachi, which is not on my project list at first. This building is located in the midtown of Osaka, from the B1th floor to 7th floor is a bookstore which has the largest area in Japan. The hotel is at the triangle part from 10th floor to the top.
As darkness fell outside, the church shows its another beautifl side. This church only opened for the guests of the hotel with reservation.
