PROBLEM: I was given the assignment of designing the front and side panel of the packaging for a fictional breakfast cereal.

SOLUTION: In Adobe Illustrator, I used the pen, shape, anchor point, curvature, text, and pathfinder tools to design the shapes of the various vector elements used in my cereal box design. I then added different colors and gradients on these items and applied effects such as drop shadow, inner glow, outer glow and 3D extrusion.

RESULT: I was satisfied with the final product because it looks visually appealing and is very colorful, which makes it look like it could be the design for a real cereal box. I received positive feedback from my peers and professor.
