PROBLEM: I was given the task of creating a fictional poster for a movie by compositing several images into a single design by utilizing layer masks, layer style effects, adjustment layers, and smart filters.
SOLUTION: I created a poster for an action movie. I combined images of a man, fire, smoke, and a texture, and added text and an inner border to the final creation. I used layer masks to hide certain aspects of the images, and used blend modes, adjustment layers, drop shadows, outer glows, and smart filters to make the images into a cohesive design and to emphasize the model by making him stand out from the background of the poster.
RESULT: I am satisfied with the outcome of my design and have received positive feedback from those that I have shown it to.
