Le SWMC a su faire confiance à un studio spécialisé en identité visuelle.

Peut-être parce qu’il s’agit d’un groupe d’amateurs de sensations fortes, passionnés de surf et habitués d’affronter les conditions climatiques extrêmes du Québec. Toujours prêt à relever de nouveaux défis, le SWMC avait besoin d’un studio de design n’ayant pas froid aux yeux afin de l’accompagner dans la création d’une équipe de balle molle à son effigie.

L’objectif du mandat était de doter le groupe d’une identité visuelle rappelant les emblèmes des clubs de motards et d’unir les deux disciplines dans un style illustratif irrévérencieux et humoristique. En collaboration avec Noémie «Lathug» Ouimet, tatoueuse et illustratrice montréalaise, nous avons développé un crest inspiré de leur appellation, le «Small Weiners Motorcycle Club». La typographie a quant à elle été traitée dans le respect des traditions des MC, autant au niveau du positionnement et du style graphique, que par l’ajout de la mention «EST. 2010».

Gageons que le SWMC sera plus uni que jamais. À la vie, à la mort!

The SWMC has trusted a studio specialized in visual identity.

Perhaps because this is a group of amateurs, surf enthusiasts, used to facing extreme weather conditions of Quebec. Always ready to take on new challenges, the SWMC needed a design studio that was not a cold-hearted to accompany them in the creation of an own softball team image.

The purpose of the mandate was to provide the group with a visual identity reminiscent of the emblems of motorcycle clubs and to unite the two disciplines in an irreverent and humorous illustrative style. In collaboration with Noémie "Lathug" Ouimet, tattoo artist and illustrator from Montreal, we have developed a crest inspired by their name, the "Small Weiners Motorcycle Club". The typography has been treated in the respect of the traditions of the MCs, as much in the positioning and the graphic style, as by the addition of the mention "EST. 2010 ".

Let's bet that the SWMC will be more united than ever. To life, to death!
