This project seeks to generate a means of transport that meets the needs of the Veritas Biocentro. Within the initial requirements the vehicle had to be of human traction, nevertheless it was investigated and it was discovered that it could be manufactured with the possibility of being hybrid by using an electric battery at a low cost.
The vehicle is inspired by the tiger frog (Cruziohyla Calcarifer) native to the Caribbean area of the country. Through the design methodology used in the course of Bionics, certain characteristic features were implemented in the final design of the work. It takes advantage that this amphibian species has long and flexible limbs and has an aerodynamic shape which were applied directly to the prototype.
