IREZUMI
Fascinated by the Traditional Japanese Tattoo work, originally known as - Irezumi (入れ墨 ) I've decided to create a "Wearable Skin".
The project consists of two hand painted sweaters. Both incorporating different motifs common for "Irezumi" — mythical animals, flowers, figures and patterns. This project celebrates the traditional ways of "Irezumi" by hand painting every design and placing it in specific areas to fortify certain qualities. Bringing the person who wears this "Skin" the desired strength, success or protection.
