I was tasked to create my own take on the tenth tarot card, Wheel of Fortune. This card, when drawn from the deck facing upright, symbolizes good fortune, peace, and serenity. However, when it's drawn upside down, it represents chaos, bad luck, and unpredictability.

Someone in my art class actually gave me the idea for the dead upside-down tree after I'd gotten stuck with the first tree on top, and I could not be more grateful for their suggestion.
