LISBON PARTIES Environmental art.

LISBON PARTIES
This project was created for the environmental art competition organised by EGEAC for the Parties of Lisbon in 2013. Parties of Lisbon are held annually in the summer. One of the traditions of this festival is eating grilled sardines, in fact the "Sardine" has become a symbol of these street parties and so it has been an inspiration for the project.
The project LISBON PARTIES is a light humour about the reflective image between sardines and people. The daily need to use an urban transport bonds many of citizens. Each of them with his own personality are yet alike to each other taking a journey by "the tram". Illustrations of sardines represent the different and very unique personalities, but also reminds about the image of society, where common behaviour, beliefs and traditions often makes this unique personality to dissolve and be alike others.

"Like a sardines in a can".
