Convergence Hackathon - Branding and Material

The Convergence hackathon was the first of it's kind in the OPS. It was an opportunity to bring different ministries together to brainstorm and troubleshoot issues within their selective divisions. It brought together different IT workers and policy advisors to collaborate to create solutions involving blockchain technology; a never before used technology in government.

I had the pleasure of working with the event coordinators from start to finish on this event. Creating everything from the logo and event materials to tailoring the swag give aways and the certificates of achievement. The event itself had many achievements in the long run and have been outlined in the "placemat" style informational shown as the last piece here.
Certificates of Appreciation and Recognition were awarded to the winners and participants respectively of the event.
Popsockets are fun and useful. They can be applied to the backside of your mobile device making it easier to handle or even used to prop up the device for easy viewing. This was a new piece of swag that the event coordinators had never heard of. It was an idea I put forth, having had one of my own on my own cell phone and loved. Being a tech-cantered event I thought they would be far more useful and appropriate than a magnet or pen. Everyone at the event received the branded Popsocket with the above design.
The above image is the end findings and results of the hackathon. The ministry who developed the event wanted to share the results so I was asked to design an informational "placemat" that would outline to outsiders what the advantages of using blockchain technology could be within government and other institutions. I used a clean and modern layout that would allow the reader to move from left to right with ease and included nods to the other assets I created for the event.
