My Personal Twitch Revamp
For my personal Twitch revamp, I wanted something mildly-cartoony, but memorable at the same time. I settled on a unique but basic "S" that I had drawn on paper first, then converted into a vector. I wanted the same style for the background, but I didn't want it to take away from the logo itself, so I settled on dots of various shades.
I used the same dot pattern to create the banner's background.
I really enjoyed the theme I had made, so I decided to use it to make the panels as well. I used the same dot technique for the background, and settled on the font "Lemon/Milk" which I had purchased a while back to make the captions.
For the "away", "offline", and "starting soon" screens i wanted to have a little more going on than just an S. I added in social media logos along with my handle for each.
I should note that I am aware that the "S" logo is not perfect. It's not completely symmetrical and isn't rounded in some areas. This was a result of drawing the S by hand. I considered changing it for a long time; making it perfect in Illustrator, but decided in the end that the imperfections helped with the cartoony feel of the overall brand.
