7) Some say he reached mathmetical equations with the help of musical notes.

8) His love for mathematics and numerology lead him to find one of the most used and known formulas which is c^2= a^2 + b^2 (Pythagorean's theorem)
9) One of Pythagoras’s most famous followers was Hippasus. Legend has it that he was the first person to prove the existence of an irrational number which made Pythagoras drown him.

10) Vegetarianism: Pythagoras was one of the first people in Western history to abstain from eating meat for moral reasons. Eating the dead, he taught his followers, polluted the body—and so they must never kill a living thing.

Death:

After travelling for quite a while, Pythagoras came back to Croton where there was a decisive victory. a democratic constitution was created that pythagoreans rejected.
During a meeting held by Pythagoras, an attack by this constitution was initiated. Some say that Pythagoras wasn't present there. Some others who believe he was there say he was killed directly. Some others believe he survived the attack and went to Lacris where he pleaded for sanctuary, but then died of starvation.  However, some other myths say that his devoted students built a bridge for him with their bodies so that he can escape. Yet, he felt so bad about it which made him commit suicide.

Draft for the poster:
Silence, silence, and silence.

I, Pythagoras the great, require a space where I can clear my thoughts and generate philosophies.

I don’t want to hear anything except the sound of the roaring ocean.

I have a collection of books and mathematical instruments which I tend to use daily.

I tend to get guests every day, mostly students who visit me to listen to my lectures which means that I need a space where I can give lectures on a theatre covered by a curtain. I sip wine regularly behind my hidden theatre.

I want to feel that I am exposed to the nature, yet not exposed to the world (people). People from croton are planning to kill me especially when I create new ideas and travel to unknown places where I explore the secrets of the world.

For my entertainment, I need a space where I can play my lyre for days while I relate my symphonies to that of the ocean so that, one day, I hope, I could meet Iris, the Goddess off the Rainbow.

Heads up, designers! The architect who can include Iris’s narrative in my space will directly be advantaged to become one of my students without passing through the 5 years of silence.

Again, silence and privacy are important to me. My enemies would even search the sand pebbles to kill me. Therefore, I want a villa with a security system where I can hide with my devoted students without being attacked or haunted.

N.B: The architect is obliged to show me his calculations before construction. xx
