University of Chester Christian Union

This is a new identity concept for the University of Chester's Christian Union. They are one of the largest student societies and communities on campus, but needed a new identity in order to appeal to a broader range of students and reach out to the campus and the city centre.
The outreach van is designed to be used around campus and the city centre on a regular basis, building upon the CU's already-successful Cuppa initiative. It can be used to serve hot and cold drinks and other refreshments on a daily basis, whilst also offering support and prayer for students who request it, or want to know more about the Christian Union and what they are involved in running.

The distinctive paint splat identity is also applied across the CU's other visual materials, to establish a clear style across all channels.
The CU's social media is also given a boost. A new Twitter page will enable events to be publicised and conversations to be started with all students, whether they are involved with the CU or not. A Facebook page is also created to do largely the same job, whilst competitions via Twitter and Facebook will be run to engage students, offering free refreshments every day for a week in exchange for RTs and photo sharing from the outreach van.
Publicity is given the same visual treatment for maximum consistency and visibility around campus. Each regular CU event is given its own identity by way of distinct colour ranges, but the overarching visual identity of the CU remains, meaning students can clearly see who is running the event. Twitter hashtags are also included to engage student online.
