Don't Flush the Forest

Don't Flush the Forest
Everybody likes soft toilet paper . . .  until they learn that the reason the paper is super soft may be that it came from virgin old-growth trees cut down in rainforests. When I read about a campaign to raise awareness and push for companies to switch to recycled paper, I whipped up my own illustration by Photoshopping the forest onto TP. I put it up on my website and was soon contacted by an environmental group who asked to use it, which I wholeheartedly endorsed. I am happy to report that work by environmental groups proved effective in getting many companies to stop using trees harvested rainforests with endangered animals.
