A color font family inspired by the form and colors of terrazzo tiles. Designed as a bold and stylish display type, it’s suitable for posters, editorial design, advertising, presentations, book covers, social media posts, products and even walls! The colors instantly give a decorative look to blocks of text and the customization options provide flexibility to set the desired tone with four, three or just two colors. Suitable for setting headlines and longer texts, Terrazzo Color also contains a regular black version.
Terrazzo Color comes in 6 different OpenType-SVG fonts with built-in color palettes. Each color combination has been created with tones and shades of traditional terrazzo tiles including one to be used on dark backgrounds.
Developed as an all-caps font, the lowercase characters include alternative use of the color palette for the respective uppercase character. Just turn caps on and off to try out different combinations.
The layered version comes in 4 layers to create your own color combinations. The colors are carefully distributed across layers to match the look and feel of the tiles.
The character set is based on Adobe Latin 2 (extended to include Turkish) supporting most Western languages: Afrikaans, Basque, Breton, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, Gaelic, German, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Sami, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish and Turkish.
A regular black OTF/TTF font is also included in the pack and can be used as a stand-alone font.
