For the first time in awhile, apparently, Kelly and Ryan celebrated the US Independence Day holiday in New York City and did an entire Fourth of July show, "Live's 4th of July Party." The design was influenced heavily by the set designer's direction that the graphics feel more Americana, small town celebration, than America, ultra-patriotic. In particular providing images of weathered barn and as well tabletop decorations.
The Live with Kelly and Ryan set has are a variety of screen sizes to design for with both horizontal and vertical orientation with most being several screens stuck side-by-side. The Entertainment Stage consists of four large vertical pillars of monitors with a row each of monitors that sit atop of them all with a huge monitor behind them.
With all of the design and animation happening in about a week's time the challenge is creating additional elements based on the original 16x9 design to fill up the other monitors and make the room feel like a cohesive space.
