A tactical guide to growth marketing
Organization: Clearbrain, an AI-powered growth marketing platform.
My role: I was the editor and, at times, ghost writer for The Growth Marketing Playbook. I worked with authors from notable companies like InVision, Dropbox and Stitch Fix.
Goal: Write, edit and publish 15 step-by-step growth marketing articles for professionals at high-growth companies.
My process:
- Read draft or outline of article
- Identify the key points the author wanted to get across
- Create a hierarchy to organize the article, prioritizing tactical information
- Write article from outline, reorganize article and/or edit as necessary
- Submit for author approval
- Upload to Webflow
- Press the shiny "publish" button
Challenges: Time constraints – only had 3 weeks to compile and edit 150+ pages of articles. Although a challenge, it was a great learning experience researching and writing articles on topics I had little to no experience in.
