This is a sketch for a sculpture I hope to build. The base is a wood block with the persons being built from clay. The silver sheet is sheet metal with sketches and newspaper articles posted to it.

I worked on this one night after reading much of the news surrounding the american invasion of Iraq in 2003, U.N. inaction in the region, and the ongoing strife in the Palestinian territories.

Self explanatory. The country is Iraq.
