Every once in a while it is great to put a twist on an old classic. For this project I have recreated the covers of three infamous Stephen King Covers: It, Rose Madder, and Carrie. I decided to incorporate my own style with use of stylish lines and an outlined final image.
When it comes to design simple is better. I decided to illustrate the images that I would be using for my book cover. I stuck to the basic design principles including shape, size, type and symmetry. On each book cover I matched the font to the title of the movie. All of my book covers have a consistent feel. All the covers are arranged visually and literally within boxes. The image is close to the bottom center of the page and the Author is at the very bottom. The tagline for each novel is placed on top of the tagline.
