Background on school to prison pipeline:
The school to prison pipeline is an issue that is present in many low-income schools. these schools tend to have a greater concentration of minorities in them. When children in these low income schools act up, the issues are often taken into the hands of the police. This leads to some children who do very minor things ending up in jail. This injustice also unproportionally affects children of color. This is issue is a major injustice to these people and needs to be given attention. One solution to this issue is for the hiring of student consolers to be replaced with the high police presence at these schools.

Reason for Outcome:
In this project the main thing we wanted to highlight was the difference between the welcoming environment of school to the dark lonely depths of prison. We also decided to use the idea of Lady Justice to depict the justice that needs to happen in the school system. Lady justice is always blindfolded, showing that she can not take into account anything but the words of the oppressed and does not discriminate.
