This 30 second commercial is about the product Pleasure Valley Margarine. The intended demographic is teenage girls. My shot list was: wide shot, medium shot, close shot, medium - close shot, medium shot, close shot, and a shot of the logo and slogan. I tried to go for a plain folk feel with the commercial.

For my video, I tried sticking with the plain folk theme. By that I mean I wanted to keep the reality aspect of the scene. The upbeat and joyful music I chose also felt appropriately inserted and used to fit my commercial campaign. As for the demographic, ours being teenage girls, I feel that the dialogue which utilized more logos to give the facts with a bit of humor got the point of our ad campaign down. The shots in the video also were varied, we tried not to stay in one position and attempted different camera angles including close-up and medium shot. We are Pleasure Valley Margarine and I hope you enjoyed the commercial.

For my video I edited it in a way to use plain folks well as magical ingredients. I used plain folks by just showing two normal people enjoying my project. I used magical ingredients by showing how the product was all natural. With my video I wanted it to seem like a late night cheesy ad. I'm not a teenage girl but the teenage girls I showed this ad to seemed to think it was funny. When editing I wanted to have overlay sounds and shots without music so that when the music is used it's surprising and makes you chuckle.

For my logo, I have designed a valley and a sun with different shades of green. I planned to use the negative space as a way to define the sun and the sun’s rays. The color of green was to be used as a way to show our product is full of life - no preservatives and only the most natural ingredients. I planned to use it as a way to inform teenage girls that our product is  a healthier choice than store-bought butter.

For my magazine ad, tried to go for something simple but also makes it pop. I planned to use pastel colors not only to bring in teens but as a way to contrast each set of information. I used short themes go to straight to the point later to the call to action.

For my logo, I designed a valley with a river and a rising sun. I made the logo a valley because of the product name Pleasure Valley, and added the sun to correlate the "Pleasure" in Pleasure Valley with the joy associated with the sun. I made the words into a cursive font in order to encapsulate a fluid, easy to spread feeling that customers will project onto the product.

For my magazine ad, I used our tagline as the headline and made the font fluid and eye-catching. The body also contains a tagline, in addition to statistics on the nutritional content compared to other brands because teenage girls are generally more conscious of nutrition. My call of action is noticeable, but doesn't draw your attention away from the rest of the magazine ad. Our logo is clearly noticeable.
For my logo design, my inspiration was a peaceful picture of a valley with the sun in the back and I added a few vegetables which is apart of the product itself. I wanted to go for a more all natural look since our product uses all natural ingredients and I made the logo green to add to that natural feel.
For my magazine ad, I used a picture of a cake that looks very appetizing and I added an elegant look to it for snob appeal more than plain folks since because some teenage girls can have high standards as well as show how our product can be used for different recipes.
