THE IMPOSSIBLE SALE ADS
THE ARCHITECTURE ADS SERIES
To many fans around the world, soccer or football is described as the beautiful game. Within it, a roller coaster of emotions is right on its non-stop mode for two forty-five-minutes-halves. The ultimate part of the ride is JOY, the feeling sparkles from various angles and aspects of the sport. If we look into the soccer world, one of the common denominators that most people who “live football” can heartedly be overjoyed by is a goal. There is no other joy can compare to how a goal can make people truly live in the moment. That is only one out of zillion beauties of the game.
More to the JOY, different cultures experience it dissimilarly. In soccer, multiple cultures are represented their unique ways of celebrating joy.
However, I would like to take you onto a different perspective ride that is beyond what we best know soccer for. The ride to JOY, of course, but it would make you reflect and take a few minutes to think about the world as a whole in a bigger picture.
“What is the vehicle?” you would ask. Well, via my ad poster series,in which, you will not only experience JOY in soccer through an unthinkable lense but also find yourself at corners of the world in various cultures through architecture. Most of all, you will be aware of what is currently happening on the other side of the globe.
In Aleppo, Syria, soccer and joy, as we know them, are distorted by war. For many Syrians, who cannot escape the war zone and the ugly everyday reality, they have no choice but stay and suffer. The background with a collapsing building is enough said of how brutal the war is. The ARCHITECTURE comes into place by this destructive building. However, if you look beyond the destruction, you see innocent children smiling. By blending the background with the foreground photo of two children expressing a universal symbol of JOY, the point is clear that there is still hope. In the SOCCER context, one of the boys is holding a soccer ball on one hand and a gun on the other. This image conveys so much of how children’s daily inexperienced choice of play.
How do you make your decisions in life to have JOY?
