For this project, we were asked to design a poster based on a social issue. I chose a commonly used and incorrect stereotype, that pitbulls are an aggressive and dangerous breed. The pitbull is portrayed in a playful and less aggressive way with an illustration and bright colors. The positive message was emphasized by the head facing the text, pulling the viewers eye to the fact half of the poster. There are currently many bands against this breed of dog, so it can be used as a social awareness poster.
