For Design II we had to make social issue ads. Our first ad we were able to choose whatever social issue we wanted. My first social issue I decided to focus on was autism, since I have Asperger Syndrome and wish to be highly involved in autism awareness. For the ads I decided to do research of famous people with autism, to help inspire and to show how people with it, can make a difference in today's society. The headline I decided to put myself into those who do not have autism shoes, and asked how can autism affect society? From there the rest came into order. My response to the question was simply "ask him/her". I faced the text heading into the spokesperson's direction to guide the consumers eye to that person. Below in the bottom text I provided that person's name and occupations/ contributions they have made to society. Here I provided a photo I found of famous autism activist, Temple Grandin.
After finishing the first ad, I wanted to go higher beyond expectations and made it into a campaign series. Here I provided a online photo of Albert Einstien, who was considered to have autism. Just like the last ad I had made, I applied the same concept, and faced the text in the other direction.
