Andslite is an Indian high-volume manufacturer of LED torchlights and lanterns for the rural market. This new range was created for their first foray into the urban market. The brief was to create a low-cost, simple to use product that would appeal to urban sensibilities.

We chose to go with a minimal, easily recognisable form, bright eye-catching colours and a body texture that wears well with time. On the engineering front, we reduced the number of components, made them easier to mould & assemble, and developed a new switch mechanism that is patent-applied-for.
