Strength can be found in many forms. Not just in brandishing a sword and fighting blood soaked battles. But in having the courage to love and love then without boundaries. Despite knowing the other person's past and scars and battles. Despite the walls they've built and armour they've put on. If we can but bare ourselves and love without limits, we could achieve true love. True comradeship, endearment and fulfilment.
“Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will."
― Mahatma Gandhi
“Anyone can hide. Facing up to things, working through them, that's what makes you strong.”
― Sarah Dessen
“Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up.”
― Louise Erdrich, The Painted Drum LP
“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”
― Lao Tzu
