- DARK MATTER -
A series of volumetric paintings investigating concepts such as change, entropy and evolution through an experimental search of the organic form. Hybrid compositions halfway between collage and sculpture where chaos and order are used as a tool to stimulate unexpected associations among different elements which result evokes a corporeal presence in constant transformation.
This project intends to accentuate the particular processes of each material by delving into the morphology of its own physical essence. Textural rhythms, color vibrations and shape shifts are dissected and reassembled to build new interconnected structures coexisting in uneasy balance.
- PROCESS -
These pieces have been created using different mixed media techniques. Oil painting, acrylic, spray paint, ink, pastels, graphite and resin parts have been dissected and reassembled as paint skins to form new body structures.
