Carleton College Black Student Alliance

This tessellated piece is an originally made tessellation. The colors represent the Pan-African flag, and the "Blackout" text is inspired by artist Barbara Kruger, and later adopted by major street brand Supreme.
This logo was inspired by the Fresh Prince of Bel Aire TV Show - a show that highlighted different avenues of the black experiences in America.
Inspired by the iconic logo from Friends, this Blackout piece pays homage to the show by maintaining the original design.
This logo was inspired by the popular Black sitcom, Martin. Martin is known for it's comedy, 90's hip hop fashion, and a new wave of African design.
Finally, this logo pays homage to the movie SpaceJam, that plays with reality and cartoon. This design incorporates the futuristic theme of the movie, as well as the potential progress of the Black Student Association at Carleton College.
