1st year exam at DMJX. The assignment was to create a visual identity, poster, programme and animation for CPHINK18, a fictitious tattoo convention in Copenhagen. Copenhagen has such a long history when it comes to tattoos, and Nyhavn was where it all started, so naturally I wanted to pay tribute to that in the logo. The illustration style and motifs are very much inspired by the old sailor tattoos dating back to the 1950s.
