Our school is named after Octavio Paz; the only mexican writer awarded with The Nobel Prize of Literature and whom is also considered as one of the most influential writers in the XX century, as well as one of the biggest hispanic poets of all times.
OCTAVIOⓇ Mexican Spanish school is the newest addition to the INTERLINGUAⓇ southeast family, a network of english as a second language schools with over 40 years of experience.
OCTAVIOⓇ Mexican Spanish school is established on the Yucatan Peninsula which is located in the south east of Mexico, it is a cultural safe heaven for international students. Merida is the de facto colonial stylish capital of the Yucatan Peninsula and the safest city in the entire country. We own and operate 3 schools in Merida in addition to two other schools: one in the laid back colonial city of Campeche and another school in Playa del Carmen, only a couple of blocks away from the astonishing Mexican Caribbean.
With shared facilities with our older “sister” school, we promise a Mexican experience like no other; modern facilities located where real people live, and not the made-up Mexico that perpetuates stereotypes, but a real sight of Mexico where you will observe and feel what our beautiful country is all about.
We can teach Spanish from zero, all the way to B2 level. In addition, all our programs are enriched with cultural activities such as Mayan archeological zones tours, bike tours, or Mexican cuisine courses. Our personnel will help you deliver a hassle-free learning and cultural experience.
