Hembu is a cosmetic boutique with a curated selection of the best health and beauty products for the skin from Korea and Japan, bringing together the venerable tradition of Eastern wellbeing and Western energy and vitality.
Hembu is joyful beauty. The name is inspired by the Korean word for happiness, reinventing with clarity and light to create an expression of joy, a smile that brings us a moment of calm.
We worked hand in hand with Enheid Studio, the creators of the architecture and interior design to create a wholesome experience. The branding is inspired on the ideals of Asian beauty, deeply symbolical and meaningful, without losing the expressiveness and warmth of the human craft and expertise. The typographical design, expressed in different languages, generates messages that are a happy invitation to share this conscious beauty.
We also generated symbolical routes and diverse graphical exercises to better the experience of learning about these products by creating a universal language that anybody can understand to find the perfect product and treatment for each kind and tone of skin.
In this way, Hembu becomes a holistic experience with a simple, bright message: to be happy.
