T-Shirt Design for Local Cannabis Company
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Cannabis is legal in Oregon for recreational use as of 2016. This new and emerging marketplace, has opened up a new industry for designers such as myself.
A running joke with native Oregonians is that "Oregon is Full"... we have a lush, beautiful state and in the last 10 years, the Portland area population has grown leaps and bounds! There are many memes and social media posts that brag this phrase, so my client decided to have T-shirts and stickers made for their local cannabis shop.
The client wanted a very simple design, cartoon-type character with minimal colors, Oregon representation (the state map & fir tree) and using cannabis in the image (the vape pen or joint). This design was simple, semi-provocative and humorous to the locals. It has been the company's #1 seller since launch.
