The New Graphic Languages

Editorial
InDesign
Starting from an article written by Muriel Cooper on Design Quarterly in 1989, the book presents a research on contemporary graphic design and the tools that characterize it through the selection of a series of designers and projects representative of a fairly varied spectrum of possibilities. Each project was analyzed according to a series of other parameters considered relevant, such as the type of design process, output, aesthetics and the presence or absence of user interaction. The work is articulated in phases illustrated through the interaction of colored inks that represent the contamination of the various current media.
