Concept Design
The design idea is driven by space efficient structure with clean, uninterrupted forms. Aloft will have a shelf-bracket style hanger which will also work as a wall mount charging station. The speaker body will be equipped with Bluetooth wireless system and rechargeable battery that allows mobility and flexibility of use both on the table and under the shelf.
The challenge was to find out and utilize a Dead Space in a messy urban dwelling. Through the research and brainstorming session, I came to set up 'designing a product for the under the shelf space' as the goal of the project.
