Google and Reddit ads for Networking Startup

Banner Ads for Networking Startup

For these ads I was wholly responsible for concept, text, and design. I also researched the audience and purchased the ads. Though the target audience was professional, I wanted to use images that would get the reader's attention. For this reason I avoided the images typical in this category, such as traffic streaks from freeways, stock photos of office employees, and people using sci-fi interfaces. Rather I sought images that would speak to the pain points the reader is feeling that might lead them to need the client's service.

There were also a number of social ads, but those don't have the text included in the image as per ad rules of Facebook, Yahoo and LinkedIn. Note also that these images are fairly low-res. This is because they meet the required specs for the Google ads, which have strict limits on file sizes.

These are previews of ads for "buffer bloat" keyword I researched. The client's company had the rare capacity to fix this product, and I determined that "what is buffer bloat" was an uncovered niche that we could corner in a crowded advertising market.
