"Human Refugees" Immersive Exhibition

Human Refugees was an immersive exhibition event organised by artists, refugees and asylum seekers from all over the world. The exhibition, with its location at The Workshop in Lambeth, showcased documentaries, facts and figures, photographs and artwork that depicted important aspects of a refugee's journey. Human Refugees worked to create a safe space where people could discuss and ask questions about the refugee crisis. Its main goals were to challenge some of the misconceptions surrounding the crisis and to create more public engagement with the issue and the people affected.

As an Assistant Art Director of this project I was responsible for creating the Set Design with other team members, under the supervision of the Art Director. I also collaborated with the PR team, promoted the event through their social media channels.

This event was promoted by the UNHCR and Central London UNICEF Group.
