I grew up hearing speeches of Martin Luther King or watching footage of Muhammad Ali during the month of February for black history. Over the years it seems as if very little has changed to update/enhance the experience for the viewer during this month. In an effort to reimagine the significance of Black History Month I set out to personalize my experience by posting a new individual on instagram and explain my connection/experience for the month.
