Rebranding BioWare

Rebranding BioWare
Redesign of BioWare's Corporate Visual Identity
A project in which we had to rebrand the corporate visual identity of an existing Canadian organization. I chose BioWare, a game developer best known for its roleplaying video games with incredibly immersive storylines and innovative morality systems.  The logo I designed reflects BioWare’s firm standing as one of the best game development companies in the world in the present and the years to come.

This design is purely for academic and portfolio purposes. BioWare's original logo and products are only used as inspiration for the design. I am in no way associated with the owners, creators or producers of BioWare, and this design will not be sold or used to make profit in any way.

Logo Redesign
The redesigned logo consists of a hexagonal shape combined with the company name wordmark. The symbol describes the origin of BioWare: founded by two medical doctors, Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk due to their love of video games. The hexagon represents nucleotide molecules from DNA (“bio”), and is also reminiscent of a power-button (“software”). The symmetrical balance and geometric shapes of the logo create a modern and clean feel, perfect for the nature of BioWare’s products.
