Concert At Sea has become one of Holland’s most successful and biggest music festival, created and organized by the members and crew of famous Dutch band Bløf. The band's having fun with it by inviting some of the greatest artists of today. And by serving their own beer! In May 2018 I was commissioned to design a beer label named after their biggest hit ‘Zoutelande’. A blond beer brewed by the band and Slot Oostende, one the world's best breweries.
For the design they were looking for a mix of 'vintage' and 'Zeeland', which is the province they're from and where Concert At Sea is held. They mentioned a few typical things from Zeeland, like a button worn on traditional clothing. Furthermore I was inspired by images of the Zoutelande video which I used in the illustration. All was created within two weeks. Just in time to have it ready for the festival. After that you can find it in the shops and bars in Zeeland. And online: www.zoutelandeblond.nl
