CHALLENGE
Concept and develop the exhibition layout and environmental graphics for the Milwaukee Art Museum's educational exhibition, Animation: Art Goes to the Movies, an exhibition about how animators are inspired by art and the world around them.
SPECIFIC ROLE
I was contracted by Studio Saal, in collaboration with the Museum's Education team, to conceptualize and develop the design for the one of the learning galleries in the Milwaukee Art Museum. The scope of project included the design and successful implementation of exhibition specific 'activities' developed by the educators, exhibition layout, and environmental graphics. Activities include a stop-motion animation station, 'Here's the Pitch' activity wall where users can develop and pitch a cartoon storyline, and a 'Guess the influence' matching game. Variety of games and activities are designed to engage a wide range of ages.
