Below is a selection of my portfolio, where I'll add some text to explain some of the images if needed. First off are some screenshots of the BB10 apps I'm currently working on. If I'm able to provide links to download the apps as they are, I'll share that here.
Essentially, I'm trying to create apps which I hope make a variety of tasks easy to help with time management. Eventually, connecting parts of the app to NFC tags will help in my goal of having the phone present the proper information at the right location, at the right time.
Each coloured button launches a specific page or sheet. Once a voice, text or other element is created, it can be linked to a Task Recipe, which will contain the information, as well as provide cues to ensure enough time to prepare for the main task.
Simplifying setting the timer, in a different interface than an analog clock or drop-down picker, a slider or buttons can quickly set and start the timer.
A study in how best to visualize time, especially time remaining before a time-sensitive event. No more surfing the net to find out I only have 5 minutes to get somewhere!
I don't have any visual representation, but I'd like to share a couple of concepts I'm working on in terms of user interaction with mobile phones and other technology.

-the evolution of the smartphone: at first it was about convergence, a music player, PIM and phone combined into one device. Now, we're looking at connectivity, where the phone acts as the link between a variety of devices. Only so much convergence, endless possibilities for it to connect.
-BB10's Invocation Framework and it's ability to provide that link.
-NFC tags to initiate and automate a variety of things.
-digital camera's software, how it could be improved.
Just wanting to show some artworks I've made. The distorted ones are made by using a flatbed scanner in different ways. One where I've disassembled the scanner to scan my mouth talking (the pinkish coloured one). The others are scanning snow, dried paint and distorted light.
