My Role
I sketched several ideas and worked closely with iOS developers to enssure the technology support proposed requirement. I collaborated on feedback from stakeholders, then went on crafting interaction flow, and working with visual designer to develop the screen mock-up.
Outcome
The feature helps reduce the risk of downloading China map with big file size. The user is able to download all the region map or just one per time. They can either cancel the downloading by sliding the item to left or keep the status while using another app. But there is still some tecnoglogy limitation which it doesn’t support transmission resuming at break point. After all, the downloading performance still reley on the stable internet connecting.
