'Imposter Syndrome' 

The brief was to create an animated GIF for an editorial piece on Imposter Syndrome. Imposter Syndrome causes people (usually high achievers) to doubt their accomplishments and be afraid of being 'found out' for being a fraud. 

I decided to upend the usual 'wolf in sheep's clothing' saying to show a sheep pretending to be a wolf in the business world. I needed to show the sheep feeling small and intimidated, so I made the wolves tower over and surround him in an enclosed, claustrophobic space. 

I used Adobe Illustrator to create the initial images before augmenting them in Photoshop to create layers. I then uploaded everything into After Effects in order to animate it. 

I'm not an animator, but I found this experience incredibly enjoyable as I was able to manipulate the characters and bring them to life like puppets.
